A special journey takes us to ancient Casteldurante, now known as Urbania, a sought-after tourist destination in the Marche.
With a past rich in historical events – from the struggle between Guelphs and Ghibellines to the fame of the Duke of Urbino – for 27 years this town in the province of Pesaro-Urbino has been the undisputed capital of the National Befana Festival.

Among the streets of the village, between squares, alleyways and scenic viewpoints, we discover the home of the world's most famous old lady.
The Casa della Befana (Befana's House) is a magical and welcoming place by its very nature, open to visitors all year round, as the atmosphere that captivates young and old alike lingers every day of the year.

The TV series “Una Gita Fuoriporta”, hosted by journalist David Romano from the Marche, champions destinations of extraordinary charm, offering ideas and tips for creating an unforgettable travel experience.
At the end of filming, host David Romano said: “Urbania has something indescribable about it, from the theatre – a true gem – to its many local attractions, not forgetting the king of the table, the Crostolo.”
