In the height of summer, the journeys of “Una gita fuoriporta“ continue, dedicated to all those versatile, dynamic destinations offering a truly tailor-made travel experience.
One such place is Val di Sole in Trentino, an open-air playground where the fine weather becomes the perfect companion for countless adventures: trekking, biking, rafting, hydrospeed and much more. The watchwords here are adrenaline and a real desire to share immersive moments in nature, amid postcard-perfect views, sweeping panoramas and mountain trails.
We make our first stop in the province of Trento, starting out on two wheels (e-bikes this time) along the cycle path connecting Cogolo di Pejo to Mostizzolo, around 35 kilometres long and running alongside the Noce torrent. This very river is also the star of the rafting experience, a sport suited to everyone. In complete safety, we treat ourselves to this river adventure to show just how perfect the Noce torrent is as a setting for this and other water sports.
Then there are the cultural and historical treasures, such as Castello di Caldes, where the beautifully restored halls of the castle still house period frescoes and furnishings, alongside mysterious legends. We round off our itinerary in Val di Rabbi with a qualified mountain guide, venturing into the Stelvio National Park to admire the splendour of the Saènt waterfalls (Cascate di Saènt). And of course, there's a delightful food and wine stop featuring local specialities at a typical malga (mountain hut).
