The journey of Una Gita Fuoriporta continues overseas.
After showcasing the wonders of Japan last year in the spin-off Trip Out – Meraviglie nel mondo, the original TV series hosted by journalist David Romano from the Marche arrives in Canada, with two special episodes filmed between Ottawa and Montréal, airing respectively on Tuesday 14 October and Tuesday 28 October, in prime time. A story that brings together experiences, people and places: the common thread will also be the presence of the Unione Montana dei Monti Azzurri, which accompanies the format on this new international adventure, strengthening the bond between the Marche region and the world.

Beyond the televised showcase with a dedicated spot, the Unione Montana dei Monti Azzurri took centre stage in Canada with some symbolic products of local excellence: Vernaccia di Serrapetrona DOCG, vino cotto (cooked wine) and other local specialities that tell the food-and-wine story of an authentic and generous territory.
An opportunity to introduce and taste flavours born among the hills of the hinterland, carrying with them stories of tradition, craftsmanship and passion.

Comment from Giampiero Feliciotti, President of the Unione Montana dei Monti Azzurri:

"With this initiative, the promotion of the Monti Azzurri abroad has officially begun. Our goal is to introduce an authentic territory, rich in villages, traditions and unique landscapes, where quality of life is still a real value. We promote gentle mobility, cycle-tourism routes, and experiential, sustainable tourism."

David Romano, writer and presenter of the TV series:

"Telling the story of the Monti Azzurri in a context like Canada means bringing a message of identity and resilience out into the world. The Marche region knows how to speak with its own voice, and today more than ever it deserves to be heard beyond its borders."

Ottawa – the capital of green spaces and history

In the first episode, dedicated to the capital Ottawa, Una Gita Fuoriporta tells the story of a human-scale city, immersed in nature and culture. From the banks of the Rideau Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to historic neighbourhoods like the ByWard Market, and on to the great national museums and architecture that reflect Canadian identity.
An itinerary that reveals the authentic face of a city that is modern yet deeply rooted in its own heritage.

Montréal – the city that bridges Europe and America

The second episode, airing Tuesday 28 October, takes viewers to Montréal, a lively, cosmopolitan metropolis where French-speaking culture blends with Canada's modern spirit. The streets of Vieux-Montréal, the charm of the Basilique Notre-Dame, the creative streets of the Quartier des Spectacles and the local gastronomy become part of a narrative that celebrates diversity and cultural cross-pollination.

Two unmissable episodes, full of emotion, encounters and landscapes that mirror one another from continent to continent: at 9pm on Sky channel 222, channel 60 on Italian digital terrestrial Sport Italia (red button on Smart TV remote), in HD live streaming on bikechannel.it (a Tiscali Italia portal), and in 4K on demand on the website unagitafuoriporta.it
