Castelfranco Veneto, in the province of Treviso, will treat us to a wonderfully festive atmosphere thanks to the now-famous markets of the “Natale Sotto le Mura” event.
This charming Venetian town, welcoming by its very definition and steeped in a glorious past, will carry us along on a cultural journey full of legendary tales, with figures who left behind a uniquely rich artistic legacy — chief among them the town's most illustrious citizen: Giorgione, the painter born in Castelfranco Veneto in 1478.
David Romano, host and journalist of the TV series, will be welcomed within the medieval walls by Gianfranco Giovine, Councillor for Tourism of the Municipality of Castelfranco Veneto.
From the must-see spots of the historic centre, such as the Museo Casa Giorgione and the Duomo, to the many Christmas attractions for the whole family, there will also be a moment of pure flavour at Agriturismo Dal Moro, celebrating the king of the table: Radicchio Variegato di Castelfranco IGP.
